2008 Saturday Gymnastic Classes

Programs Available

Gymkana Saturday Gymnastics Program offers four different classes for boys and girls of all different skill levels and age groups.

GymkaTots

Boys & Girls Gymnastics (ages 5,6 & 7)
 
(9:00 - 9:50AM): The GymkaTots Program is for children ages 5, 6 and 7*.  These students will be taught basic motor skills as well as elementary gymnastics according to their individual skill level.  Time will be split between the gymnastics facility and the trampoline room.

*Students age 7 who have prior gymnastic experience may enroll in older children's programs with special permission.

GymkaGymnasts

Boys & Girls Gymnastics (Ages 8-16)

(10:00 - 10:50AM): The GymkaGymnasts is a co-ed program for boys and girls ages 8-16.  These students will be taught gymnastics skills according to their individual ability levels.  Time will be spent on each of the individual gymnastics apparatus as well tumbling and vault.

GymkaTroupers

Boys & Girls Trampoline/Acro (Ages 8-16)

(11:00 - 11:50AM): The GymkaTroupers is a co-ed program for boys and girls ages 8-16.  These students will be taught the novelty style acts that Gymkana has to offer.  Trampoline, double mini trampoline, and vaulting will be the focus of this program.  Partner balancing, pyramids, ladders, juggling, rhythmic, and chairs will also be introduced to the students.

GymkaTumblers

Boys & Girls Tumbling (Ages 8-16)

(12:00 - 12:50AM): Gymkana is pleased to offer a new tumbling based class! The increasing popularity of cheerleading, dance and gymnastics has led us to create a class focusing on elementary through advanced tumbling skills.  The focus of the class will be teaching and improving all levels of tumbling, from basics to handsprings, as well as flipping and twisting motions.
